EatGalway Weekend Experience & Aniar Experience Weekend

Two new and very special weekend packages have been introduced to celebrate ten years of the EatGalway restaurant group — which is comprised of Michelin star Aniar, Cava Bodega and Tartare Café + Wine Bar. Choose from an EatGalway Weekend Experience that takes in Cava Bodega, Aniar and Tartare Café + Wine Bar, or an Aniar Experience Weekend taking in dinner in Aniar and a cookery class in Aniar Boutique Cookery School.

EatGalway Weekend Experience
Embark on a gastronomic odyssey with the EatGalway Weekend Experience which starts off with a Saturday tapas lunch and glass of Cava in multi-award-winning Spanish restaurant Cava Bodega and continues into Saturday evening in Michelin star Aniar Restaurant in Galway’s Westend where you’ll be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine from a boutique winery before enjoying dishes from the 6-course tasting menu. Expect a showcase of locally foraged and wild ingredients that represent the distinctive terroir of the West of Ireland and that give Aniar its uniqueness.

The EatGalway Weekend Experience Package concludes the next day with Sunday brunch in Tartare Café + Wine Bar. Expect favourite brunch dishes elevated by the concept of terroir where local ingredients like seaweed hollandaise accompany the poached eggs and pancakes made with Cuinneog buttermilk come with local Slieve Aughty honey.

The EatGalway Weekend Experience costs €250 for two people (or €125 per person).

 

Aniar Experience Weekend
People who enjoy cooking as much as eating should love the Aniar Experience Weekend.
It starts with Saturday evening dinner in Aniar Restaurant of the 6-course tasting menu plus wine
pairing and continues the next day with a one-day Sunday cookery class from 10.00am until 5.00pm
led by JP McMahon in Aniar Boutique Cookery School.

Among the choices of one-day classes on offer are The Perfect Christmas Dinner; Vegetables, Wild Food & Seaweed; Planning A Dinner Party; The Perfect Loaf , and many more. Cooking classes run twice a month and most be booked with plenty of notice, so if this package tickles your appetite make sure and book early.

The Aniar Experience Weekend costs €295 per person.
